NEW NIH Program Evaluation Guide and Funding Opportunities

NIH Program Evaluation Guide

The NIH Program Evaluation Guide has been updated as of April 13, 2006. Please go to NIH Program Evaluation Guide to download this new and improved version.

NIH Evaluation Support

The NIH Evaluation Set-Aside Program is extending support for evaluation activities to all NIH Planning and Evaluation (P&E) Officers and Roadmap Implementation Working Groups (RIWGs). NIH P&E Officers and/or RIWG Evaluation Contacts may request Evaluation Set-Aside funds to hire evaluation contractors to assist in planning and/or implementing evaluations of NIH programs. A detailed Statement of Work (SOW) serves as the focus of the request.

Support for Feasibility Studies

The NIH Evaluation Set-Aside Program is conducting a pilot program effective April 2006 to fund feasibility studies of trans-NIH programs based on a detailed Statement of Work (SOW), rather than a proposal as described in the NIH Program Evaluation Guide.
